Introduction

The Certified Kubernetes Application Developer exam is a program developed by CNCF. It is a challenging hands-on exam that will test your knowledge of the platform and its ecosystem with real world exercises within a time limited window. It is the de-facto certification for anyone that interacts with Kubernetes in any shape or form.

Yes, the exam is challenging but it’s not a boogeyman or something that you cannot overcome. And, honestly, my own college exams were much more terrifying than this one.

Know the material

This is self explanatory. You NEED to know the material. The exam is challenging, not because of the complexity or difficulty, but due to the amount of exercises you will need to solve in the alloted 2 hour time limit.

You will NOT have time to read or search the documentation for the answers in the middle of the exam. Take the time to learn the material. Understand and know the spec of the objects and learn how each one interacts…
